• Today the Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA) published their initial findings into their view of the proposed sale by Dairy Crest of it’s Dairies business to Muller. A further delay in the deal into next year is now most likely as the CMA continue into their deliberations into a ‘Phase 2’ competitions review, that is, unless Muller and Dairy Crest can provide further ‘undertakings’ by 19th June to satisfy the CMA immediate concerns.
